Playoff Totals ++

Going to try to post during the playoffs. I get to diet and walk on the treadmill so I better have something to do while I sweat literally and over my plays. Hey MG Man you should try this I will be down 15 for the holidays and that is pounds.

First day of the playoffs:

4* Boston Under
3* NYY Over
3* Boston
3* LAA

Nothing looks good in St. Louis game, won't play a big favorite like St. Louis. I would play either St. Louis and over or SD and under. Pass for me.

Made a small series play on the Angels to take down the evil empire. It would make my diet seem alot easier to win that one.

Why would you take SD and under?

That just gives the Cards an extra at bat. Which means possibility for more runs.

Granted there are three more outs that have to be made but I sure am not basing my decision on that fact only. I think if San Diego wins they are going to need a very strong outing from their starter. I think if they win it is a 4-2 type game. St. Louis on the other hand is very capable of scoring if Peavy is off at all. Carpenter is the bigger question mark in the match up. Which guy comes today, the one from the first three months or the last month. I saw a player for st louis interviewed on ESPN today, talking about Carpenter. He said all of the right things about Carpenter is ready and the last month didn't mean a thing. But there was one thing missing in his comments: CONVICTION. There seemed to be doubt if he believed what he was saying. San Diego may be the play today as a big dog.

MG Man ~ I want to go to heaven when I am done here on earth. Winning money on the evil empire is like going to the dark side, I would rather be in the gutter broke and have morals than rich betting on the evil empire. There is something to be said for morals and integrity. When they have a payroll that is average I will bet on them. They are everything wrong with baseball. NBA, NFL and NHL all have caps. Who is against a salary cap in baseball? If you said Yankees you guessed right. What can't win with a payroll like the rest of the teams?
