Not to shabby for a so called "washed-up" qb that has lost two all-pro lineman in the offseason, two more starting linemen in lastnights game, has his best receiver out for the year, and playing without his all-pro tight end.

Not to mention he still is a very mobile and gritty quarterback that still saves his team tons of lost yardage and sacks with his elusiveness and toughness.

As opposition quarterback Jake Delhomme stated after the game.......

"I was just praying for our defense to get a stop. He was awesome tonight. I'm just honored to be on the same field with him."

FAVRE is FAR from being the reason the Packers are 0-4 and in fact, is really their only real bright spot.

Unless your a Packer fan, not for certain the average NFL viewer realizes the cards Brett has been dealt with currently.

In poker terms, it would be equalivant to going all in with 3-9 offsuit(not quite 2-7 offsuit) against two other opponents.

its a shame he has so little around him, if he had an offensive line and a go to receiver (who could catch the ball) he would be just as good as ever...

when they were coming back last night , he looked like vintage Brett Favre, fastballs and touch passes, that pass on the two point conversion was amazing.

part of the problem getting down so badly and having no breakaway receiver, you have to force balls into places that most QBs couldnt dream of...

also his own receiver gave away one INT when he lost the ball after catching.

I can think of one team (Baltimore) that could really use a Brett Favre , can you imagine?

He's not finished. Talking heads just have to rag on somebody - if you are over 30 years old and aren't winning super bowls then you are washed up. I thought for sure that the Pack was going to march down the field and score again that last drive.

LOVED IT

we were losing our fantasy game by 1 point and have Favrenugen (Say the word) going against Ferguson and Longwell and we easily won going to 3-1 which is now the same record as our opponent and hopefully Ahman Green is hurt because we have Najeh Davenport and we need to play him this week to fill in for one of our "star" RBs (Or T.J. Duckett)

One thing is a for sure Farve gives you ALL he got matter what the score is at that time. Proved once again he aint done yet, but close as he CANT beat these NFL teams by himself. Its a real shame that he has to go out this way!

I think this will in fact be his lat year! Sad as it maybe!

Unfortunately, all those numbers came when the game was already over which was somewhere slightly before half time.
