to me it is the MOST important thing to if they always pay with 0 slowpays...

If im going to lose money id rather lose it to a book where the CS seems to care or is knowledgable and shows a happy face when you win also...

thoughts???

I agree. Reputation/Customer service is one of the most important elements when I choose a book. Over the years, I have lost into the 5 figures at Olympic and Betjamaica, but I always go back cause I know I will get paid; and if I were to lose, I would rather it be to these books. But when I win, I expect payouts without any hassles. For example, last night I requested 5 dimes from Olympic at midnight, and it was in my neteller account within 30 minutes. There are very few books that give you access to your money 24 hours a day, so I will always be loyal to the books with the stellar reputation and c.s.

Depends what you mean by customer service. I place all my wagers over the internet, so having a friendly or knowledgeable person on the phone means almost nothing to me. The only customer service consern I have is will they and do they pay in a reasonable time frame. Because my contact with a book is next to zero after that point I really don't care what level of customer service they have.

Dante, same difference to me, I can't count on one hand how many times I've used livechat or e-mailed a book outside of deposit and withdraw. If a book had a reputation for having terrible clerks it wouldn't concern me too much, if they have a reputation for anything payment related again thats a different story.

CS is useless. Actions speak louder than words.

At Easybets, the CS was amazingly good - they said all the right things, but never meant what they said. The lady manager would come and talk to me and be ever so polite, but she never kept any promises she made. When I called back steaming mad, she always apologized and said the check would be mailed and yada yada yada. Had to wait 3 weeks for a payout by check.

At another A+ book that advertises here, I couldn't even get a person on livechat but when I requested a payout, I had it in 15 minutes.

good point.....I guess we will have to agree to disagree as I value CS right up there behind great payouts and never a slow pay....If a steller book with no slow pays ever had nasty clerks I would not bet there

but thats me

Remember..

Books offer no product..We all make a line..some tweak it differently, but its basically all the same..

The only differences can be..slow payouts..bad will..poor CS..

If you pay, create good will, have topnotch software, and have kik ass CS..You are a PLAYER..All else BS..and anyone telling you differently.....

William Hill has terrible CS.

But I play there frequently because they pay very fast.

More important IMHO is a valid contact person.

You echoed my thoughts perfectly..Fast payouts, your guy is what you get in CS..There is nothing like a great person in CS..Invaluable to a company..

As others have said,CS isn't as important as overall reputation. You shouldn't even need to call a book very often.

just Experienced some GREAT CS from AMY at Skybook Via chat....I was inquiring about a small WD request she did not find it from last night so she said No problem Sir I submit it for you now so you do not have to re submit it ....was very polite the entire time asking me if I mind holding for a min and saying thank you and please all the time....

IMO that is one of the most important things a book should have besides being quick on payouts is great and courteous CS she made me feel very comfortable

thank you AMY!

i cant emphasise how important cs is to me.

i only ever use it when there is a problem and for me that means with a withdrawal

since its my money i expect the clerk to be able to assess the facts see the problem and resolve it without making a big deal about it

when i get on the phone and it takes 30-40 minutes and being switched 4-5 times that irritates the crap out of me

and its led to me closing accounts at what people say are solid books

ive said it a few times but the reason i dont play at skybook was because of the grief they gave me over a 5 k deposit

so in summary i view cs as very important to me for the simple reason its MY MONEY THEY ARE HOLDING- WITHOUT CLIENTS THERE IS NO BOOK

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Ever since I started using my T-Mobil Sidekick to wager w/ a few months ago I have have made 2 call to a sportsbook..and that was because their website was down. . I can deposit, wager, and withdraw without talking to a person....which is the best thing I ever did .Good CS should be expected from these books...its just that most dont deliver...JMO

WTF, they lost a w/d request!!!?!?!?!? Hehe... just kidding. :finger:

I'm somewhat in the middle here. While I agree that other things are much more important in choosing a book, I still hate bad customer service. Not so much I need friendly asskissing customer serivce, more that I don't want rude and arrogant assholes to deal with. That Ido style of dealing with people is not acceptable. At least be preoccupied and noninterested, that is fine, but once it gets to becoming rude than I am out of there.

CS is important. That's the only bad thing about Pinny. They have the WORST CS I have ever experienced.

I have noticed 1 thing about Pinny. You get faster responses & quicker W.U. credits the longer you've been there & the more $$ you funnel through there. But, their CS is still HORRIBLE.

Probably not. Some go by initials others will translate their name into an English name

Example: Jose-Maria --> Joe Maria or Joe Mariano
