Is the sewer water that goes into the toilet the same as the water that goes into the faucet?

If it isn't, is sewer water unsafe? We had a pipe burst. If it is sewer water do I need to throw out everything in my bathroom?

Regular tap water goes INTO the toilet, but "sewer water" is essentially what comes out.

Thanks guys.

I am 99% sure that the water was unused sewer water. It is clear. I believe I am ok.

Depends on where you live actually. In some towns here in Florida they used "reclaimed" water for toilets/sprinklers.

sprinklers YES<, but unless your talking about a trailer park(lol) I think it cannot be true that ANY reclaimed water can run throgh toilets,, there is still a health issue with reclaimed water,,,

are you sure about that ace??
