Flat out I don't know much about Hockey, but seems like the totals on these games were up and justifiably so. Grand salami for 15 games was 91, an average of over 6 goals per game.
I think biggest rule change is moving blue lines closer to center line. Sure seems like there is a ton of extra room to manuever in offensive zone. I believe Gretzky would have had 40-50 more points per year in his salad days with the Oilers with this new rink set up
