i certainly do. but, it would probably not measure up to most people's carreer years. my "carreer" looks like this:

1987 - losses...not sure how much but, i was in high school and it was more than $1,000. when you're making $4/hour, it sucks.

1988-1995 - did not gamble

1996-2002 - lost every year...i have no idea how much. i'll just guess and say cumulative losses about $15,000. about 1/2 of this was stupid shit like going to vegas and riverboats. about 1/2 was sports betting.

2003 - made about $1,500

2004 - made about $5,000

2005 - up about $13,000 so far.

so you claimed your losses on your taxes from 1996-2002 and got write offs so that should about equal the taxes you have to pay on this years winnings :grandmais :grandmais :grandmais

Until the Superbowl is over, I have a chance. That is the end of my gambling "Fiscal Year".

right. also, i have claimed the expense for new glasses because i read the r/x 4 hours a day. tack on carpel-tunnel from typing thank you posts to bucsfan every day this summer and you get about a break-even for the year (for tax purposes).

My whole year was ruined for a month thanks to Western Union debacle that scarred me psychologically for the better part of 30 days...

Hard to forget and get over WU doing a number on me costing me a real big winner because they suck! I will never forget that hostage situation they pulled on me.

You know, there is a good lesson to be learned here that many gamblers can learn from.

That is .......do not get complacent when winning(attack attack attack) and do not go into to long of a prolonged shell when something goes wrong.

I use the term GRINDER quite often, and this is one of the great attributes of a highly successful "GRINDER".

Please note, this is not to say that taking some time off after a loss or a bad incident is necessarily a bad thing, as many times it is a great savior.

am i good at it? well, it depends. am i a good capper? hell no. all i do is pound my local on line moves.

college hoops is really the only sport that pays off using this method. my guy has me on a $200/game limit so, i cant really get rich but, i hit at some ridiculous rate like 65% or something. its easy when you can get +3 when the rest of the world is at a pick.
