Do Many Guys Bet 5k or More A Game??

Does it really go on or is it just a rarity?? I would say most bet less than $100 per game.. Am right or wrong?

Many dime or more bettors around here, I would think we have all sorts of players.

i thin it runs the gammet(how the hell do you spell that word?) from $10 a game to $10,000 a game.....some people spend $69 a night for a hotel, some spend $5000 a night...why would gambling be any different?

Well years ago there were many here that played Very very high.

Shrinkiee for one was moveing HUGE dollars in that circle, 5k would not warm it up, more like 100k at least sometimes much more. There were a few others at that time here also.

I bet over 10 dimes with local, but the biggest bet I had with offshore is 3 dimes.
My daily average bet is just $100-$300

If you've ever been to Vegas on game day, you wouldn't believe what the players are betting. I know Caesers and most of the larger books like MGM, Bally's, Mandalay etc. have windows for 5G bets or up! It's quite a site to see when these guys unload their bankrolls at the window! They call it "snapping the rubber bands!"

let me put it this way

the numbers of guys who SAY they bet $500 or more per game is WAY WAY more than the number that actually do

look around for sportsbooks average bet size, it usually runs in the $100-$200 range

not that there's anything wrong with that

Impossible at any local book i ever played at where the minumum bet was 100 per game. Many locals have this rule.

I would wager...(although no way to prove it)....that 80% of the posters who claim to wager...."dimes" or units =$100 per..ie. 25 unit play....actually are betting monopoly money....or perhaps 10/100 bucks a game w/a local....

real "players" have no need/feel the need....to post the amount they are betting....

of course...as noted...there are probably a "few" exceptions....

this is how I think it breaks down PER GAME

25$-100$ bettors 50%

100$-500$ bettors 30%

500$ -5000$+ 18%

$5000- 1 GAZILLION$ -2%

You would have thought sales in the game Monopoly would be at maximum just before Xmas, but you would be wrong. The biggest surge comes in the weeks leading up to the start of the NFL season.:drink:
