unlikely. Garcia is not big game playoff pitcher. Wakefield can pitch a gem right after getting shellacked. BoSox will put up the runs they need to win game 3. Garcia won't hold them down.
I won't jinx it by using any words that anger the betting gods. But BoSox look good.
Good luck! :103631605

I tend to agree with you on this although line is not cheap at -155. I know some very good cappers here have said they don't bet on the basis of a team not getting swept but I think Red Sox get it done at Fenway.

i like the bosox tomorrow.I think the comeback in the series price is a joke.not even getting back 4-1.Should be at least 6-1.Anyway I think this matchup regular season would be about -150 anyway,so I think it is probably a good bet at the price.i think Bost puts up 8.

I predict this series gets back to the Cell and then who knows. Feel Boston will protect the homefield in these 2 games.

Last year when the Yankees lost 4 in a row to Boston, i was taking the Boston team happily even though people kept saying that the Yankees Cannot lose another one. they did and so can Boston. Wakefield with a 1-7 lifetime record vs WS does not seem to be an automatic winner here. Just looks like a game that could go either way. Not very religous so in lue of prayer I will take money odds.

I wanted to add though. . .

I am going to protect my play on the White Sox by taking the over. If the White Sox get beat today, its going to have to be from Boston Scoring 5+ runs because I feel the W-sox get 5 themselves for sure.

I can get 1 unit to win 1.45
and then risk 1 unit on the over and I feel I have a guarenteed winning day with a chance to cover both ends.

``Playing them during the regular season, they've hit the ball very well against us,'' Wakefield said. ``We just have to stay aggressive. We've been in this situation before. Now that we're back at home playing in front of our home crowd, there's still a chance.'' Wakefield will be opposed by Freddy Garcia, who hasn't appeared in the playoffs since 2001 with Seattle. He's 3-2 with a 3.71 ERA in six postseason starts.

1) garcia's postseason performance looks pretty solid to me.

2) this is a big game for boston...not for chicago.

i hope todays game is played . weather forecast is looking not to good heavy rain moving into eastern new england late this afternoon or tonight with a chance of a stall out lasting well into next week.Right now the wind at fenway is blowing out to left if this does not change it could help the knuckle baller unless its hit to left. knuckle ball is least effective when wind is at your back.tons of humidty in the air playing the over layinging 550 to win 500

It could go either way and a CWS win would be almost as shocking as Bostons coming from 0-3 ly against the Yanks. I'm taking CWS small and the over.

See my thread for more winners!
