true scenario for me last year: i made a private bet with a friend that the yanks would win over boston...when they were ahead 3-0 my friend PAID ME 1000$ because he was going out of town for 2 weeks and thought the series was over....i figured with money in hand why not take boston until they get swept as a dog almost every night...and make a killing .....at the last minute i held off and actually bet the yanks for 500$ in game 4...lost....game 5 for 500$= lost.....game 6 again bet on yanks for 1k = lost.....game 7 1 k on yanks....lost...........i then bet stl to win every game against boston and lost everyone. i lost my ass plus had to give my friend back the 1k he gave me earlier in the month when he arrived home.


outcome: i dont bet series' and i dont bet mad....i hope this helps....if i were you i would lay off or start to hedge you yanks bet with a little angles action!!

GA - Thanks for the comment in my thread first of all. I usually do not play series bets but I think the Yankees will take this series so if it was me I stay with the original bet. But that's just me........good luck!
