Any Insight?

I am in North Jersey and have heard them also.

I am curious as to the legality also given the hoopla a few years ago about online casinos advertising on billboards on the Atlantic City Expressway.

Seems the land-based casinos had a problem with somebody infringing on their "turf"...

Funny thing about that. It was the first time in NJ where legal papers were served via email since some of the casinos did not have mailable addresses.

As I recall, all casinos paid a fine and signed an agreement to never solicit NJ customers again... or something like that.

I had a conversation with a deputy director of the NJ gaming commission a couple of years ago. Fascinatin stuff. The gist was that it was the commissions belief that online sports wagering was illegal. I asked him how many NJ residents have ever been convicted... silence... I asked him how many have ever been accused... more silence...

Shocking that they would allow active solicitation via radio.

Then again that was a couple of years ago.

Excellent topic though.

It pisses me off too. I listen to Jim Rome talk about the evils of gambling and that no can win as he goes to a commercial break. Whats the first commercial, the stiffs from BOS asking for your money.

he is pretty self riteous isn't he. Like others if he can't pick games they believe nobody can. Who cares, let people believe what they want. Commercials are airing in Portland too

While I would not play with them due to their reputation, I'm glad they have a radio ad.

Missed hearing the ad, but don't live in NJ.

I wish more and more of the good companies would have radio spots!
