Well, went and seen an afternoon showing of the flick. To make it short, again, it reminds the viewer of the damage gambling, greed and money can do.

Started out kinda dull, but got better as it went.

Such a small part of the gambling community.

I know what hollywood does to everything, sensationalize, I hope this movie does not damage the industry.

True. This is how they lie and say they accept all major credit cards when actually they are just doing it through WU.

I thought it was excellent...

I give it a solid *** stars.

Considering the subject and tying in a decent story is why I thought the movie was very well worth it....

I don't wanna give away anything but I felt like i could relate very well to the Mathew Mc-however you spell his last name...

Al Pacino was excellent in his role too.

Funny Newport...there was this gentleman who was sitting in the row in front of me off to the right, I couldn't help but notice the guy kept rocking like Leo Mazzone, and he kept checking his cell phone, he must have checked it 10 times, I kept seeing the light on it....

The theatre was pretty empty, the best thing about this movie and I am sure the writers wanted to make it this way, it had a a little bit of everything, a good story, very funny, you didn't have to be into sports wagering to appreciate the humor, Al Pacino's character was very funny.

There was a line in the movie I really could relate to, I won't spoil it though...

The first hour of the movie it felt like NFL sunday when all the games look good and you're tallying up how much you might win, it had the same feel....the lessoned learned in the end pretty nice little twist...I won't say anything else.
