ATL@HOU
Take the Astros here. Here is why:
Houston as a whole played well at Minute Maid Park this year, tying the Braves for the best home record in the NL at 53-28. Atlanta, on the other hand, had the second-worst road record (37-44) among the six teams that qualified for the postseason. This is their best record since moving into Minute Maid Park. Oswalt was one of only four players in the majors to win 20 games this season, finishing with five victories in his last six decisions. The right-hander was dominant at home, going 12-2 with a 2.52 ERA in 17 starts. Since making his major-league debut May 6, 2001, Oswalt has won more than twice as many games as he has lost. At 83-39 with a career 3.07 ERA, his .680 winning percentage ranks first in Astros franchise history among pitchers with at least 100 decisions

Since last Year...Including their 18-game home winning streak at the end of last season, the Astros have won 71 of their past 99 regular-season home games. Thats a 71-28 Record...best in the majors..They went 4-1 at Minute Maid Park in the playoffs last year, splitting two games with the Braves in the NLDS and winning all three against St. Louis in the NLCS.

**The weather at first pitch is forecast to be a pleasant 71 degrees with clear skies, a light breeze and low humidity — perfect conditions for a playoff baseball game.
Not if you're the Astros.

The retractable roof at Minute Maid Park is expected to be closed for tonight's Game 3 of the National League Division Series between the Astros and Atlanta Braves, and it has little to do with the weather.

Instead of playing under the stars on a picture-perfect evening, the Astros would rather close the roof, ratchet up the noise and turn the ballpark into one of the most difficult places for opponents to play.
