I'm right here ! They are nothing special and would not stand a chance against the better teams in the country !:lolBIG:Journeyman said:Looks like Joe Pa can indeed still coach afterall...
Where are the naysayers now?:howdy:
We are....
I think that's how they say it.
No shit. I said PSU should be PK at a minimum in the game tonight, and everyone laughed at me and said that there is no way OSU doesn't win by at least 2 touchdowns. Reminds me of a quote in the movie Jaws. "Some people just won't get it until this fish swims up and bites them in the ass."Journeyman said:Everyone said that when Ohio St was next, well I'm sure if you keep saying "next week' sooner or later it will prove to be correct....They do appear to be growing up some now...that defense is as good as just about any in the country.
How is Michigan going to score? Henne gonna light 'em up? You gonna run on this team? No, and no.Poker King Jim said:3 complete cupcakes at home followed by these back to back home games against teams they matched up well with was a taylor made setup for the whole "we are back" bandwagon. Winning at Michigan next week will be much more of a task than beating the Gophers/Buckeyes at home. Do you guys really trust Michael Robinson on the road?
Northwestern is a good team, and a very good home team. Henne....who knows? If he plays like he did against ND, they will lose by two touchdowns. I would never bet Michigan, but you've talked me out of a PSU bet. Home field means a lot. Public will be all over PSU. I'm not convinced that they'll be wrong.Poker King Jim said:Northwestern moved the ball on them. OSU ran the ball somewhat successfully, Smith just can't pass. Henne can. Northwestern ran for nearly 200 on them. Playing at home compared to playing on the road is like night and day - especially when you don't have much a quality QB. Ask Ohio St

USC had the 2 leading candidates for the Heisman last year and they both returned ! Add to that the fact that like UCLA inbasketball in the old days...anyone who is interested in becoming a member of a National Championship Team goes to USC.... Well ... you get the picture... This team is loaded !Illini said:You are probably right. USC is the only team capable of beating USC.
