Yes I was there...WFU row 55 seat 28. What happened to Ohio State? They found out what happens when you come into Happy Valley at night and play the BEST TEAM in the Big 10.

The funny thing is Brutus (the mascot) walked right by me on the way out. Let's just say it was bittersweet watching him walk out of the stadium holding his head.

When your mascot is a pancake head....what do you expect?

Then again I've been saying we were going to win this game for what at least 4 weeks now on the boards. No one thought we could beat the #1 rushing team in college football....we beat them by 30. No one thought we could beat the Buckeyes with that "great" Ohio St defense...we did.

No one will give us a chance in the Big House.......................................

I was just playing with you:lolBIG: ..I am starting to become a believer (especially since joepa made my 4 teamer a loser:hump: )...

Its hard to not like Penn st. for me... I am 37 now and can remember vividly being a kid growing up watching penn st. (used to show alot of penn state games in NY for some reason)and my late father would go on and on about Paterno and how he was the greatest coach etc..He really loved him and for me it is like a bridge that still exists from now back 25 years. I miss my dad but watching paterno walk the sidelines in some way it's like i'm a 12 year old kid again in my family room with my dad..Don't know if anyone else gets what i'm saying and maybe i'm a dork for looking at it that way.:sad3:

Sportsbet- Congrats, what a win! But I don't agree about next week. I think the public will be all over PSU after Michigan's loss today, and this huge win. I could be wrong, but I think most people will think PSU by more than a TD.

Did they pass a hat around before the game to help pay off Troy Smith or is that dipshit really that stupid? I especially like the 100 MPH fastball to the receiver 4 yards in front of him.

Thanks guys...Drunk they had to adjust the S over in the student's section in the beginning but they got it right.

I wish the weather had been a little better leading up to the game...getting into town was a mess (plus I ended up parking out by Fox Hollow since we got there around 4:30 PM on Saturday...the weather beforehand was REALLY bad).

Michigan will be a tough game...I "think" if we beat the Wolves in Ann Arbor it's time to really start thinking BCS. I don't want to be one of those people telling them how great they are yet...hopefully they can prove it on the field the rest of the season.

Guys one more time for the #8 team in the land:

Enjoyed the "WHITE OUT" by the fans....Iowa is doing a "BLACK OUT" for Michigan game in 2 weeks! Iowa poised to roll off 8 straight just like last year!!! hopefully. And now they just need michigan to knock off PSU since they don't play the hawkeyes this year. I'll be a Wolverine fan for this weekend only.

The White Out was great...the S was cool too within the white out. I was at about the 35 yd line across from the White Out and it was mesmerizing. I have some pics on my phone but I don't know how well they came out. If they are any good I'll post them.

showed up to my tailgate in shorts and a T-shirt

needless to say, my ass had to go back home and put on a few more layers

I'm surprised to see us come in at #8 in the AP, although the Harris has us all the way down at 19 :icon_conf

Anyway, I have been at Beaver stadiums for almost all the games over the last 10 years, and this was the most energetic crowd I have seen yet. Nebraska was great, but the stadium was absolutely nuts last night :103631605

no, if we could just figure out how to sustain a long offensive drive, we would be looking good

Agreed...and what was with the Robinson draws? I mean I like seeing him run a draw now and then...but it seemed like it was overkill (and Ohio St's LB's were there most of the time).

I was really happy with the run blocking overall (I know most people were grumbling in the 2nd half). I think we can be even better there but Tony was really finding some room to breathe. They flashed his numbers up at some point in the 2nd half and he was like 13 carries 71 yards (so like 5.5 a carry).

Drunk you're right about the crowd. I was at Nebraska as well and you just knew going into it there was something special about this game at night at home. It exceeded my expectations big time. Even the seniors in my section who normally don't EVER make noise unless it's a cheer now and then were standing and hollering and stomping and yelling. It was great.

P.S. We brought jackets, blankets and left it all in the car. Me in my infinite wisdom said "we'll come back to the car before we go in the stadium." Oops...so no blanket to put on the bench and no jackets...good thing the Mrs had layers on and I had a sweatshirt on under my jersey.
