I totally agree here ...

They point out last night the astros coach was drapped over the rail eating seeds in the crucial 17inning....charlie Weiss for ND at the end of a game is yelling and grabbing players to put in and off the field

Baseball coaches are pretty much interchangable

what are your thought on that?

Apples and Oranges...Baseball is the ultimate thinking man's game...Football is much more emotional and intense though, so that may be why it appears that way.

baseball is the ultimate game, its just not as action packed, much more going on then most people realize.

football coaches are much more crucial to the outcome of games.
Playcalling, time management, matchups, personel, stategy. There are basically three seperate teams to handle in football. Its not even close.

Ultimate thinking game? Where? Anyone with an average IQ could manage a baseball team with a weeks training, cannot be said for an NFL coach. Pitching changes (even more simplified nowadays as they appoint each guy with a "role"), hit and run here or there and a few bunts is all you have to do. And its not as if its difficult to understand when you should be trying those plays.

And what is Ozzie ball? They've hit a ton of homeruns this year. So they hit and run and bunt more, wouldn't mean a damn thing if they hadn't hit so many homeruns!

I think alot more thinking goes into a football coach head then a baseball manager...
