What's the rule on links here if they are more than just promotions?

Not sure what the current rules are so I thought I'd ask first.

Was wondering if I'd be able to copy and paste a few picks with detailed writeups over here to contribute to this forum and then provide a link to where the rest of them are or is that still frowned upon?

I guess technically it's site promotions but I'm also adding sports picks to the forum so wasn't sure if I could slip into that forum.

Let me know.

Jake, I appreciate the write-ups but we do not allow links to other (similar) websites. You can post the write-ups if you like but no links.

Might want to mention that the writeups are not your own when you post. I was just reading a "plagiarism" thread a little while ago.

Oh okay. I thought I was getting accused of something.

I was about to get pretty pissed off since I've taken a ton of time doing my own writeups and have never copied anyone.

When I read your first post, I thought you were asking about copying someone else's writeups over to this site. Mr. Leisure is correct, someone got busted recently for posting writeups from other sites as if they were his own (or without even acknowledging that they were not his own). I was just trying to make sure that didn't happen to you as well since you were well-intentioned.

Since you're the one doing the writeups in the first place, I guess it doesn't matter anyway! Sorry for the confusion. :toast:
