I thought whether a fair catch or not is called, if it hits a player and muffed it's a free call! I thought the Ravens game has the weirdiest call with holding on the nose tackle on a running play. Never ceases to amaze me.

So these morons basically had in the rulebook that a player receiving a punt and calls for a fair catch, can have it hit his hands and must be given enough space to retrieve his muffed punt???? How the hell do they keep something like that in the rulebook??

that was not the correct call period. The rule was written for bobbles not a ball that bounces 4 feet off the guy....horrible

A team should test the rules by "accidently" kicking the ball back downfield LOL then saying I didn't have a fair chance to catch it!

It is a bad call because the ball hit the steelers player , the steelers player didn't hit the guy trying to catch it first.
