Met the kid at 9 restaurant a few months ago at the Palms. Totally polite and congenial. Very well raised kid. I feel bad for him. Hope he comes back quickly.

I thought he was done, but after watching it again it looked like his leg wasn't firmly planted when he was hit and it gave a little.

Had it been stuck there? ACL.

I'd say two weeks.

Ben sustained a hyperextension. It's hard to tell how bad it is but it would cause in internal type injury to the knee (ACL vs PCL)
The fact that he walked off the field is a slight good sign. They'll have to let any swelling settle down and re-evaluate it. I saw Dr Bradley testing the knee and it didn't look unstable but its too early to tell from TV footage.

Hopefully its only a strain.

Trust me, I am a doctor!

What do you think about Martz walking the sideline yesterday with endocarditis??? Shouldn't he have been in a hospital on a antibiotic drip instead. I mean jeez, you are talking about a (very) potential fatal illness... Almost killed me 10 years ago.

BIG BEN QUOTE

Roethlisberger limped off the field with 1:05 to go after guiding the Steelers to within striking distance of the winning score. Preliminary indications were he had a hyperextended left knee. He will have an MRI today in Pittsburgh. "I'll be all right," said Roethlisberger, as he pulled on a pair of bluejeans over the knee, which was not wrapped. "You know me, I'm tough."

NOW IMO if he is putting a pair of jeans over an UNWRAPPED knee he might only be out a week or 2 if that and he is right he is the next toughest QB next to mcnabb IMO

Word is that it is a hyperextension. MCL and ACL tears happen when you are hit from the side, as opposed to head on.

Also might be a badly bruised knee cap.
