How high is too high when receiving western union payouts?

I wanna withdraw some money via western union
For those of you who have done this before what amounts start getting a million questions?
Im going to vegas next month would I be less liley to be questioned there (ie a western union in a casino would want me to lose all my money?)
Can I use my new york id there?

I got a withdrawal of about $4500 a few months ago. I used my Ny id with no problems (am in Tn now).They did ask for my social (which i made up), what i did for a living and some other stupid questions. I think anything over $2500 gets those questions. Just make sure when you withdraw to tell the book you are going to be in Nevada when you pick it up. If they send it using your home address in Ny it will get all f'ed up.I know that from experience..

Im suprised you werent questioned on the NY ID
Ill defienately use a western unuin in a casino to avoid questions
I take it they never verified the social?

No, just tell the book to send it willcall to las vegas. To my knowledge they never verified the social (at least when i was there they didn't). I think any of the check cashing places in vegas(and there are plenty) would fine as well as the casinos. The id will not be any problem.
