You could probably use a BIOS update.....it's a special kind of software that runs on the main (mother)board in your computer. You'll have to get the update from the computer manufacturer & then probably extract it to a disk that you'll have to boot up to in order to install.

Your computer may only be 4 years old, but the motherboard is at least 8 yrs old.

KIDSLICK: Do you mean Service Pack. If so, download it from Windows XP Service Pack 2. Many Security Issues included.

In addition, I see that your BIOS are a little old. See if an update is available. Good Luck

Bump for anyone that missed it.

This is a big one......8 or 10 updates depending on your operating system.

Thanks Bill :finger:

Bill believes in having the consumer be the testers for his crappy software instead of putting out a good product the first time. I suppose he can do that seeing how he has such a large percentage of market share.

This is why I don't feel bad about using "borrowed" copies of his software.

Very true Quantum. Furthermore, they force perfectly good software into retirement by pressuring other software companies to to cut off support for previous versions so that corporations are forced into constant change (the neverending upgrade cycle of Micro$oft operating systems).
