Rarely into bb props....Saw a couple that make sense.

Contreras over 5 strikeouts -112 vs Angel squad travelling overnight, 2 hr. time difference and celebration drained concentration. Contreras has been nothing less than awesome & going for eight "w's" in a row dating back to mid August. Finley, Rivera, Erstad and Figgins have struggled with contact against this horse. With Crawford behind plate, a mid level bb-k umpire, Contreras will not be squeezed.

Will also play Contreras over 100 pitches at +118 with strikeout total adding to this probability.

Both for one unit

Thanks Max...Barely eked that one out at 102 pitches. Contreras did not dominate, the aforementioned Angels, like he has in the past, thus only 4 K's and a split on the wagers. May have a prop or two in Tuesday's action.

Will roll with two strikeout props tonight. Decision is based on home plate umpire Eddings (4.21 bb per game) and his double wide strike zone. He should be in his element tonight before the national tv audience.

Buehrle over 4.5 strikeouts +129
Washburn over 3 strikeouts -137

both 1 unit

Would entertain Carpenter with McClelland behind plate in NLCS, except for CC's dreadful last 3 weeks with 21+ ip and 22 ER's. If he regains form over 5.5 k's should get home, but a pass for now.

I had Contreras UNDER 100 pitches last night. Vlad hits one almost out but it is caught to end the 8th inning and Contreras at 98 pitches. Contreras would have been yanked if Vlad would have hit that one out as pitchers were up in the bullpen. So Contreras comes in for the 9th and pitches 4 pitches to cause it to go over.

Quantum:

I hear ya. I was very fortunate to get that one! Like always, sometimes we are the bug...and sometimes we are the windshield. Unless Buehrle gets one more K in inning 9, I will be the bug tonight.
