I played the over also. It was too obvious an under bet and knew 7.5

wasn't going to contain the bats. (although I was sweeting in the top
of the 9th).
Just had a hunch but in the playoffs this year I think a hunch is a good
bet anymore. Better luck tomorrow.

 I prefer to be lucky any day than to be good.

It was somewhat odd they sent him being down three runs his run didn't mean anything, and it wasn't like that deeply hit....I think in some cases the runner may have just played it safe....

if the ump hadnt been giving Izzy strikes on pitches 2 inches off the ground, the Astros may have scored more than that one meaningless run in the 9th

Houston screwed up in the 8th with Carpenter still in having thrown 92 pitches and they went 1-2-3 on 4 pitches. What's wrong with taking some pitches in that spot ????

You felt it coming when Burke hits a two out, 2 run homer in the 7th

There is no worse feeling......No room to play with

0-2 count on the first batter in the 9th, he gets a hit to left......as soon as Eckstein threw that ball to 2nd, I knew we lost the under

Its such a tough way to lose it too

2 2 run 2-out homers

Yep, and I saw it coming to..just had a feeling ..:icon_conf

Wasn't it awful?

Its such a tease too,
Once Burke hit that homer, you just knew it

Then the 8th is a BREEZE......top of the 9th........UNEARNED RUN...game ends ONE HALF RUN over the total

Sucks big time

I thought the same
It wasn't hit that deep, and Edmonds had a decent run in on it.....He threw to the plate and of course its like 1 1/2 steps too late

Sucks

Eckstein didn't know he had time
the 3rd baseman couldn't tell him either since he was going for the ball

It's just one of those FUCK ME OVER infield hits

:hump:
