Yeah, they did appeal to the 3rd base umpire, and he wouldn't overturn it. Kind of difficult to overturn it after all that, especially since you really couldn't tell for sure from over 100 feet away. It's just too bad that it worked out like this. But......the series is far from over and both teams are gonna have to put it behind them and control their own destiny. No excuses. Just like it wasn't Bartman's fault the Cubs lost. Shake it off and play ball.
