Pretty cool seeing those two side by side being complimentary:103631605

Knight admitting Isiah was ready to leave as a sophomore and told him to leave, and this was in 1981 when it was still very rare.

Its about as warm as Bobby Knight can be, not exactly charming anyone but admitting what he thought of Thomas, good to see them together...

It takes a special kind of player to play for Bobby Knight. Isaiah was one of them. Every time he's asked about Knight's tough coaching methods, he always defends Knight. It takes a tough-minded player to deal with Knight, but they're definitely better off for it in my mind. Today's high school bball player wants to be pampered because they think they're the shit. Knight can turn you into a great player and a winner; you just can't be a *****. I love the old-school, tough love coaches. Never had a problem with Knight before, just today's athlete.

again it all boils down to money...they know the money is there, they know they don't have to work as hard, back in the day the greats weren't set for life after one great season, spent their off seasons working regular jobs....money did that.
