I watch quite a bit of CFL football. It does mean something but certainly not near the degree it does in ncaa and nfl. In the CFL it is very common for a team to concede a safety any time the are punting from their endzone. Also when you receive 1 point for FG misses and punts where the runner can't get it out of the endzone it can lead to some funkier numbers than US football. An excellent product though.

CFL games this year have landed on 3 4.7% of the time and have landed on 7 3.1% of the time if it helps any.

Do you mean by teams favored by -3 or all games?

The only middle I recall this year in the CFL was Toronto vs Winnipeg 6 weeks ago. Line opened at Win +6.5 and closed that +7.5/8ish game landed on 7 on a last second TD by Winnipeg.

Is laying -3 -110 and taking +4 -107 a winning proposition in the CFL?

The number 3 or 4 would have to land approximently 8.5% of the time to breakeven.

Assumming probablity dictates it at least does that, correct?

Fish wouldn't bother, don't have numbers but off the top of my head I highly doubt there is any significant value. Break even proposition at best.

Probably a fairly good assumption on your part.

What the heck, need some rollover action anyway, so lets roll the dice here...........

Saskatchewan +4 -107..... 1070-1000
Edmonton -3 -110............ 1100-1000

Why guarantee yourself a loss? Wouldn't something like this be better (and more fun)?

Saskatchewan +4 -107..... 1177-1100
Edmonton -3 -110............ 1100-1000

or maybe more on Edmonton or maybe a 80-20 split - that is what I do.

Basically the same on paper if you one knows nothing about the game whatsoever(as you well know).

I hear exactly what you are saying though, and do exactly that on many(if not the majority) of my middles/scalps.
