I had a wager graded incorrectly(counted as a win-should have been cancelled) which benefits me $500. I intend to let the book know about their error.I figure they'll appreciate the honesty and give me a Bonus Play or something.

Just curious what would most people would do/have done in this situation ?

Would most certainly report the error!

Having been through the weeds in this industry for many years, BELIEVE me when I tell you(and anybody else), that doing so will come back two-fold for you in the future.

Conversly, not reporting it will in all liklihood come back to bite you in the ass, one way or another.

Yep ! It is as sure as " the sun coming up in the east ". When you do "the right thing" you cannot avoid it coming back your way in a reward somewhere down the line. The opposite is also true so BEWARE!

hands down you have to REPORT the error....its just the "right" thing to do IMHO...They should give you a bone for being honest but some im sure won't but at least you will feel good about yourself that you where honest

I have never had it happen to me but if it did id report it in a heartbeat, but that is me

Any player who reports a line error or a play misgraded at my book gets a free 100 dollar two team parlay..And most of the time I want the player to win..

The reason I say most of the time is because sometimes he is on a side that I need to blow up..

even if you dont get a Bonus Play or something, is it really worth $500 to get over on someone? and face it, u already had it as a loss. report it and then enjoy the feeling of honesty. GL in your decision

It really is funny how giving money away does come back several times over...I can think of several times where I have seen it personally....I never use to think that way either.

One time this customer I had wanted her money back and I refused to give her the money back because technically I didn't have to, and she was rude, plus I went out of my way to serve her....it was only about 50 dollars profit , so on the way home from her house, 5 minutes later I get a 75 dollar ticket for a traffic infraction, and there was no doubt it was all related, I learned a lesson that day....and now go out of my way to give back or not be so greedy with money.
