basically, he is saying our defense can't stop them.

Is Notre Dame playing with 11 players on defense? It looks like they are playing 8 man football against 11.

Teams should be allowed 15 on defense against SC.

Notre Dame needs a 4th down conversion on their own 30...a pass interference...a 15 yard personal foul...to score. USC just gets the ball and plays catch...then smashes them in the mouth.

I agree....only a heck of a lot stronger. He is a stud. His numbers are inflated statistically because he plays with so many other great players and a great system, but as an indivudual, he is amazing. They hype is well deserved. :toast:

This game reminds me of the Natl' Championship game last season if ND makes one mistake, I smell a blowout a la the ass whuppin' Oklahoma

17 years ago this day Miami (ranked #1) came to South Bend after beating ND by 93 points (combined last three meetings) only to lose. Was also Lou Holtz's first game against USC.

Now today USC comes in ranked #1 after beating ND by 93 points in their last 3 meetings facing Weiss for the first time.

I have to agree with you...I always give credit where it is due, but Notre Dame really hasn't done much in this game. USC has killed themselves with penalties and the INT in the end zone.

Still a great game!
