I am so sick of what Reggie Bush just did

these young players are getting dumber and dumber. the distance from a TD where these guys start celebrating keeps going up. meanwhile the defense is still playing and could cause a fumble that will crush the showboaters team.

Score the damn TD, THEN celebrate! Not a difficult concept. Reggie Bush started celebrating on the 20 yard line, that stupid football. Pointless and no upside. run hard, protect the ball and score the points.

He basically stopped on the one and the defender didn't stop. Nothing against him, but I completely agree with you. Wish he would have fumbled it and gotten smeared. Almost should be a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty.

Im not ranting just against him. A LOT of players are guilty of this, usually a lot closer to the goal though. Bush was just very blatant about it but I see a lot of guys doing this these days. I would verbally rip a players head off if I was a coach and one of my players let up before scoring, whether he got caught or not.

He not only stopped at the 1...he started jogging at like the 20 or 25. He almost got caught. That was ridiculous.

He has done it many times this year, I can remember a few TDs where he started galloping and pointing at the crowd before he got in. Obviously the coaches haven't dared to tell him to stop it.

How many times are we going to see a stupid player do the dumb 'dive into the endzone' and receive 15 yards? I mean at this point every man alive knows its a penalty yet they still do it...is it that the coaches just can't get the players not to do this?

This has cost teams games.... just plain unforgiving to get a penalty under that circumstance!

At the same time though Journey...they really are taking a lot of the fun out of the game. I think they should have a little more fun and excitement when they score as long as it isn't disrespectful to the opponent or the game. I hate how the officials run right up to the players after a TD and funnel them to the sidelines.

But I know what you are saying.

I'm waiting for the time when one of these showboaters gets the ball punched out at the 1 or 2 yard line and gives up a fumble into the endzone only to have the other team recover it to cause the showboater's team to lose.

I think the derender should have gotten flagged for a roughing penalty. He was clearly over the goal when he pushed him in the back~!

no, he definately wasnt over the goal in my opinion. even if he was, it was close enough that it was a clean hit.
