I am now a believer. Excellent gameplan by Weis. He was running plays that I have never seen run before. The fake hitch screen to the wr/QB run up the middle. Announcers said it was improv by Quinn but it wasn't - It was a designed QB trap. There were numerous other plays that were completely new and brilliant. His playcalling and plan of attack was flawless. His defensive gameplan was also effective. White did next to nothing and they held Leinart in check. USC should have scored 60 on them with those weapons. Notre Dame had no business even being in that game. The difference in talent is enormous and somehow Notre Dame went toe to toe with them for 4 quarters. I have a feeling that Notre Dame is gonna be the dominant program in the country in a few years.

Are you guys kidding? ND has always been a strong recruiting program, even in bad years they are usually top 10 for recruits. I think the comments about the talent gap with SC aren't true, ND has plenty of athletes. Its just a matter of getting them into a system that fits them because plenty of speed and size for the Irish this year and just about every year.
