Thank goodness I have been too busy the last month play these games, but by the looks of things it looks like the sportsbooks are having a great season. I bet they have already made more profit this season than all of last season combined.

Is this the case?

The word is that this football season has not been great or even good so far for books. There is a lot of ball to play though. Typically for books, the bowls are very profitable. Time will tell this year.

Thats why I asked. Im not nearly as close to the situation as I have been in the past. I have been too busy to play the games lately.

Your answer does surprise me though. I thought for sure they would be having a better season this year than last.

The books probably had their best day of the season yesterday. Several games where the line consistently moved in one direction went south.

Yes

Yesterday had to be good for the books! I guess they lost some on the ND Game but made up on alot during the day.

From what I hear the books have been getting slam on Saturday and getting it back on Sunday...

Anyone on Carolina today? Who else is getting the action?? I would guess that Cinny and Balt are also seeing some action.

You will NEVER EVER EVER hear a sportsbook come on here and say they had a good day. For them if, they made about a million in one weekend, they'll say it was "OK". But they always seem to bitch when they make about a hundred grand a weekend. Even after all the houses cleaned up last year's Orange Bowl, the books didn't way a single word when everyone knows they made trillions off that game.

If they aren't doing well in foots, they are probably making it all back on hockey.

Not sure about that. The game was at 12 to start the day and went off at 13-1/2

Carolina winning by 1 and Dallas by 3 look to have been horrible results for the books from where I'm sitting.

Impossible...hockey doesn't get 10% of the volume football does.
