yea i played the first and i was so addicted to it...i dont think i left the house for 2 striaght days. and your right, its hard to top the first one...but they certainly did...they made the gameplay a tad bit better...and you dont gotta wait as long for those stupid stories...
and of course having Apocalypse in it makes it all that better

I don't know much of the x-men story line, but the apocalypse story line is awesome.
The one thing I was kind of disappointed about was that I could no longer pump up one character to insane stats by soloing the game like I could in the first (can still kind of do it with magneto, but he's bound to betray "us"....right? hate to pump him up and make him impossible to beat with my other weak chars) But this is really just them fixing a game balance problem, so I can't complain.
