i believe the angels lost all momentum after the stike out in game two. what one thing (play, call etc) can you think of that turned the outcome of a series.

i come up with the mcsorley stick incident in game two stanley cup finals kings vs montreal.

The Angels were well on their way to WINNING if that dropped strike 3 never happened. Then by magic the second run automaticlly scores for Anaheim. And that caused the Sox pitchers to pitch 3 more complete games in a row, give me a break. Tired of the whining, the Sox are not a team to ever get these breaks like other teams.

I think the Angels lost their momentum when Vlad kept smashing the first pitch he would see into a ground ball out.

That 3rd strike was not a game ending play, I don't know why people are so hung up on it. There have been tons of worse calls that had more of an impact on the final result of a game. That just gave the Sox an extra out.

Roberts stolen base.

:103631605 good one..

Not much mention of the Tony Clark ground rule double that saved Boston from allowing what would have been the winning run earlier in extra innings...if that ball doesn't go over the fence and keep the runner at third, we are still talking about the curse.

call that an out - like it should have been - O's go UP 2-0 in the series and it is OVER but because of that - Yankees come back to win the game and the series
