1)pettitte in trbl early, hit batter and walk, so pujols swings at the first pitch...pops out to 3rd base....

2) hostlie environment and get first 2 men on....4 pitches later they produce NOTHING..............who the hell are these guys in cards uniforms....certainly not the guys that won 100+ games this year!!!

wow.. 2 men on.. 3, 4, 5 hitters up and NOTHING.. this is not the same team that won 100 games in the regular season. it's early still..

Couldnt agree with you more. No patience being shown by the Cards. Petitte was having trouble with location, they should have been a little more patient.

Wow these guys are just brutal! Now the Astros are extending Carpenter in this first freakin inning. Astros in basically the same situation as the Cardinals, let's see what they do.

the title of this thread states basically that i think the cards are done, having said that i hate houston, so what did i do, bet 2 units on stl to win the series +444 at pinny last night......i think cards deserve props if they do something well and that was one of the best plays i have seen a 3rd baseman make all season....
