I could not sleep last night staying up until 5 am and got up at 7 am this morning. I simply can't believe what I saw last night even this morning! I will be leaving for St. Louis for Games 6 and 7 to give my team my support. I am happy win or lose that St. Louis will at least have a chance to say good bye to Busch. This series is far from over as mine and other Cardinals overconfidence in this series almost came back to bite us but we were given a miracle reprieve. I like my Cards chances in Game 6 and if there is a Game 7 but I won't make the same mistake the rest of this series being overconfident. I know how Astros fans must feel as I felt it from the time Berkman hit the HR in the 7th. Anyway only 1 stat that matters for Game 6 and hopefully beyond. Cardinals record at home with Kojak at the game....

7-0!!!!!!!!!

I hope it is 9-0 come Thursday!

A little perspective if you will...

Moses parting the Red Sea was a miracle. Cards vs. Astros was a baseball game.

This was a creesy Hollywood script come true. WTF a fat meatball pitch to the best hitter in the majors with Sanders on deck after walking Edmonds with 2 outs. Lidge will be worthless the rest of the way. He might as well stay in Houston and work on the slider. If St. louis comes back this ranks higher than the Oilers debacle, the 35-3 2nd half choke in Buffalo.

Hoffa,

You are right it is not big deal in the big scheme of things in life but for Cardinal Fans it is just below! BOL

Yes I am taking my kids and pulling them out of school. Also for those interested, face value WS tickets in Chicago go on sale on line for 125-185 face value on a first come first serve basis for those that want to go. Great investment opportunity for those tickets that have already been purchased going for as high as $10,000 a game here in chicago. Great opportunity for people who have had it rough lately gambling to get their money back!:103631605

Yeah, I hear they're only putting maybe 4,000 onsale (I guess per game?). I think maybe I'll try for some Game 6 tickets figuring most will be trying for Games 1 and 2. Game 7 is very iffy, but the series USUALLY goes at least 6 and if it does it's always the potential final game.

I still have the same thoughts. Garner made an idiotic move having Ensberg playing a double prevention defense against Eckstein. Cost him team a birth in the series. No way Eckstein could pull a ball hard down the line off Lidge.

What possessed Lidge to pitch around Edmonds as if the pitcher were on deck? I'd rather let Edmonds beat me than Pujols.

I have heard through the grapevine that Millennium Sports has just awarded two quality seats for the World Series in Chicago to one of their clients! This company gives out two sets of tickets to the game (NFL) of their choice each week. If you're not a player at Millennium, this offer, and their bonus packages should make you reconsider today. What an outfit!
