This is a minor problem with CRIS, however it has pissed me off to the point that I would like to share the story with everyone.
I referred a friend of mine to CRIS and he has deposited money with them. My friend calls me and tells me that they asked him who referred him and he stated that I did. So they told him that I was able to receive a 10% referral bonus.
So I call them to see what I have to do to claim my bonus. They tell me that there is no note on my friend's account stating that I was the one who referred him and that he needs to call and let them know. He calls them right in front of me and tells them all the details, giving them my account number and name. CRIS tells him that I will see the money in my account within the hour. 2 hours later, no money. I call them again and basically the same thing happened. They tell me there is no note on the account. So my friend calls AGAIN and gives them all the information. That would make 3 times he has now given them the information.
Here is the part that really pisses me off. I call this morning, as the money is still not showing in my account. Whoever I speak to there tells me the same story, that there is no note in either account. So I tell the clerk the whole story and that my friend has called 3 seperate times. She says, "Well he needs to call again". At this point, I get really frustrated and ask to speak to a manager. She says that a manager will not pick up this phone call because all that has to happen is for my friend to call again. I again ask to speak to the manager. She tells me to hold on and she relates the story to a manager. I ask her if she is talking to the manager? She says that she is. So I again ask if the manager she is speaking to will get on the phone so I can explain the problem in detail. She tells me, "No, he will not get on the phone, there is nothing that he has to say differently".
I cannot believe this. I have played with CRIS for a while now and they do not even have the decency to put a fucking manager on the phone to speak with a client?? That is bullshit!
Still sitting with no referral bonus and contemplating withdrawing money from there and having my friend do the same.
