This is a minor problem with CRIS, however it has pissed me off to the point that I would like to share the story with everyone.

I referred a friend of mine to CRIS and he has deposited money with them. My friend calls me and tells me that they asked him who referred him and he stated that I did. So they told him that I was able to receive a 10% referral bonus.

So I call them to see what I have to do to claim my bonus. They tell me that there is no note on my friend's account stating that I was the one who referred him and that he needs to call and let them know. He calls them right in front of me and tells them all the details, giving them my account number and name. CRIS tells him that I will see the money in my account within the hour. 2 hours later, no money. I call them again and basically the same thing happened. They tell me there is no note on the account. So my friend calls AGAIN and gives them all the information. That would make 3 times he has now given them the information.

Here is the part that really pisses me off. I call this morning, as the money is still not showing in my account. Whoever I speak to there tells me the same story, that there is no note in either account. So I tell the clerk the whole story and that my friend has called 3 seperate times. She says, "Well he needs to call again". At this point, I get really frustrated and ask to speak to a manager. She says that a manager will not pick up this phone call because all that has to happen is for my friend to call again. I again ask to speak to the manager. She tells me to hold on and she relates the story to a manager. I ask her if she is talking to the manager? She says that she is. So I again ask if the manager she is speaking to will get on the phone so I can explain the problem in detail. She tells me, "No, he will not get on the phone, there is nothing that he has to say differently".

I cannot believe this. I have played with CRIS for a while now and they do not even have the decency to put a fucking manager on the phone to speak with a client?? That is bullshit!

Still sitting with no referral bonus and contemplating withdrawing money from there and having my friend do the same.

Spread--Sorry for your inconveniance.

My first recommendation, call them between 1pm-7pm, as you will more than likely speak with somebody that is trully in charge.

If you do not get this resolved by early evening, I will gladly do my best to help you and call CRIS myself on your behalf.

Keep me posted.

They did the same thing to Ppeter.

Message to Cris:

Don't advertise and solicit referrals if you are going to make the bonuses difficult to collect.

FWIW, have known NUMEROUS individuals that have received referals at BetCRIS in the past quickly and with no problems, so lets not blow this out of proportion and be degrading a great book such as CRIS.

Not making excuses here, as I firmly believe this should be handled in a much much more timely matter than is being done.

Spread--Again, if you are not credited with your referral, will do my best to see you do indeed get it credited if you do indeed have one coming..........which without doubt am sure you do.

CRIS is a topshelf book. However, I am not happy about having to call 3 times about something that should have been handled after first call.

Fish, I will call after 1pm today and hopefully it will be resolved by a person with ability to resolve.

I did not intend to blow this out of proportion. Just thought that I would share the story, as it really pissed me off. Not really the fact that I did not collect my referral bonus promptly, but the fact that the manager would not get on the phone and how poorly I was treated. Just really terrible customer service from what is supposed to be a top tier book. Thanks FISH for your interest and your pledge to help. I will keep you posted.

Tried that also last night. They told me to have my friend call, which is what I did 3 times. Once again, I am not so angry that it is taking long to get the bonus, more upset that they would not even put a manager on the phone. That is just poor customer service. No getting around it. Especially since I referred a client to them. Just piss poor service.

Same story with Ppeter and myself.

Since issue began Friday and continued Monday, I will call again today after 1pm.

I have not used live chat, but will call the toll free # today.

To lessen the flames here, I have had similar trouble with other books' crediting referral bonuses.

However, they always cough up the dough.

Wil,
Just spoke to Scott and he was great. Money is now in my account! I did make sure to tell him that it was not the fact that the bonus was not promptly handled, but more the terrible customer service that I received. He, on the other hand, was great and got everything taken care of. Thanks Wil and thanks Scott.
