Just Got my Neteller Debit Card...

In the mail today...

So let me get this right...when I have money in my neteller, I can goto the ATM machine and withdraw my money?

Can I deposit money(cash) using this card to?...into neteller

Seems pretty sweet though :103631605

you can take out 1000 a day, you can't deposit with it as far as i know.

Also can use it at places that accept that type of card, i think McDonalds is one of em.

I got mine last week, transfered $500 to it today. Yet to use it, but I think it will be pretty cool.

It doesn't take it straight from your neteller balance - you have to transfer funds to you neteller debit card account.

Usually is instant...has taken 15 minutes when they are busy.

Only transfers one way though - so you can't transfer back into neteller once you've assigned the money to the ATM area. (at least it was this was for me previously)

How safe is it to keep money in Neteller? Anyone have bad experiences or know of any?

There was a thread on here before about neteller being as safe as a bank...not sure if its that high in safety..but i wouldnt be scared :103631605

Given the amount of faith that virtually every offshore has put in Neteller with their balances there, I would rate them a very, VERY low risk.

I use Neteller everyday. Of course you can transfer any amount from your debit card back to your Neteller account with one click,lol. This system is one of the best out there right now but there are new ones popping up all the time. SO far Neteller is the safest. Instacash is awesome too.

I feel comfortable when I have high balances there. I know they are making a killing with their fees so I doubt they are gonna pick up and leave. Plus they are a publicly traded stock (in Europe I think) just like any other major bank here in the US.

Good point Hitman. By looking at their fees, you have to think that they are making millions upon MILLIONS of dollars. I can't believe that we haven't seen any serious competition for them.

Do you remeber when books took Paypal? Oh man, that was easy as pie. I remember Neteller was the only serious competiton then, and I would say to myself "Neteller is so shitty compared to PP, I will never use Neteller." Now I've got about 11 million netpoints. Too bad Ebay bought Paypal :sad3:

Absolutely!! Paypal couldn't be beat.

I don't remember exactly what it was that was so good about it, but there was definitely a lot of groaning when they left the market. I'm not even sure that I had used Neteller while Paypal was around.

Seems like, at the time, Neteller could only process 2500 at a time. While Paypal was pretty much all you wanted. Also my ACH deposits would hit my paypal account within 2 business days, while neteller takes a minimum of 4.

What are the fees for the Neteller debit card?

I recall reading there was a monthly fee to have it as well as a per usage fee for both ATM withdrawals and debit card purchases? Is this still the case?
