The war machine that exist in this country needs turmoil, it feeds the machine, it always has and it always will.
levistep, do you watch the news? having been a part of the war machine that exist in this country it is obvious that the continuing conflicts that are ongoing in the world only benefit one segment in this country. why do we give billions in foreign aid to friends and enemies alike? weapons, war, and the contiued killing of people is good for business. do you disagree with that?

Maybe the users of certain risky drugs will manipulate public policy so that the users of less risky drugs are labeled "druggies" and deemed worthy of arrest, incarceration and a lifetime record as a convicted criminal. Let them be in possession of just a few grams of certain less popular drugs and this minority group will be jailed even longer and given lifetime tags as "FELONS", which of course used to be reserved for those who rape, murder, assault or steal large amounts of money/property.
We'll call it the WAR ON DRUGS, even though DRUGS are not what we are making war on.
In fact, the vast majority of the legal drug users (88% of Americans consume at least one legal drug every single day, and about 60% of adults use the drug alcohol at least once monthly :drink: ) who support this new War will make their speeches with drugs in their own bloodstream and many of them will make a significant part of their income from being involved in some aspect of the legal drug trade.
