The hands were AK vs KJ where he lost a lot of his stack, a definite bad beat, and AK vs 77. And if you don't see how you can have a lot of money on the line with 77, then you aren't the pro poker player that your name implies.

The kind of moron that understands what it takes to a win poker hand, and tourny.. lol

Are you kidding me? Did you see the hand play out? If you did and still think it was a bad bet then I hope to meet you at the tables soon.....

i didnt see the hand play i only saw phil bitchin as he left..if he was that short and the guy had him covered that much then yea i can see him making the call...my bad.
i was just relating to phils pain as i had been knocked out 2 nights before by a moron who put me all in with pckt 8's against my pckt K's...naturally he hit the 3rd 8 and if you think phil was pissed you should have been at my house about that time....yea thats poker but it don't ease the pain ....about like watching Kobe bounce that last free throw off the backboard with .6 left on the clock when you have ov 195.5 and its sitting on 195....lol....that was 2 years ago and i still get pissed every time i think about it!!!

And one more time.....when they revamped the site a year or so ago i had to change my name cus i couldnt remember my password and my email addy had changed also...so i came up with propokerplayer....im a pro only in that i play for cash.....and very little of that! its just a forum name, by no means do i think im doyle brunson, phil ivey or even in Matt24's league as far as that goes........im currently ranked around 680,000th at poker stars...and with my AK losing to J8's and such i dont look to be moving up anytime soon.....lol

A lot of the big names are falling early. Should be interesting. Also I guess thats why I will never be a pro, because I wouldn't have that much confidence in 77.:103631605

the guy that knocked hellmuth out had a much bigger stack and it looked like to me that he wanted to take hellmuth out...he was sitting to his left...phil raised to 1500 and the guy looked at phils stack and re-raised it up to almost that amount...so phil was the idiot for going all-in with a drawing hand...he acts like everyone should bow down to the name players....

the guy who knocked phil out played it perfectly

"he acts like everyone should bow down to the name players"

EXACTLY!! Without the respect factor, the name players are no better than the 40 hour a week internet pros.
