Cards fans we still need to win 2 games over 2 of the best pitchers in baseball in Oswalt and Clemens. Game 5 is over and we must also refocus now and get ready for tonights Game 6. Any of us attending the game, we must provide the type of homefield advantage tonight that not only gives support to our Cards but also makes it difficult for the Astros to find themselves and get off of the mat and believe. It is important for our Cards to score first and hopefully more than 1 run. If this happens, Astros will start doubting and feel like they are climbing a mountain that can not be climbed. I believe we can do this but lets make sure we don't get overconfident. Remember we don't play tomorrow until we win today. This is our year to redeem ourselves but we got to get 2 more to get chance!

exciting times for you Kojak and other Cards fans. Last year not getting any sleep and hanging with the Redsox was one of the best moments I ever had.

And it is obvious Kojak is running the Cards Flag around this year.

My only observation that I find somewhat strange in the ending to the Cards game with Pujols big time home run, is that the Cards reaction, Pujols's reaction, was very subdued, with what they just accomplished. I mean it is not like the Cardinals are the Yankees and are used to winning the WS all the time.........They just did not seemed as pumped as their fan base over what just happned.....and I am not saying that and a quarter will get you a cup of coffee relative to what will happen next, but there is still something defeated about the Cards even after that big win.

Now I know you will tell me it is because they are focused, and know the job is not over yet by all means, and Larussa carries that type of demeanor with his team.

All I know is they have not won a WS in a long time as well, and with that comeback the other night, they should all be acting like kids in a candy store, The first 3-4 innings tongight and we all will know

Newport,

I was actually encouraged by their reaction. The goal is to win the World Series not get back. It is all or nothing. Also, a lot what made of how Houston pre celebrated in Game 4 and thought it was over. Cards did not want to disrespect Astros and give them any reason for motivation or billboard material. This team knows there is still 2 wins to go. Hopefully we can win this comfortably tonight going into game 7.

I think we need about three or four more Cardinal threads before game 6 starts.

Viking,

Sorry to hear you won't make it tonight. Middle of the week games are tough. Anyway, will do my best to keep fans going to get this to game 7.

Dammit, you're right. They just needed to try harder. Oswalt is easy to hit if you just care.:WTF:
