I love the unders in the post season and in elimination games.. Tonight, however, I would lean to the over of 7.. Oswalt has not done well vs. the Cards in the past..

st.louis gets 7 tonight on there own...

Yes the #7 is scaring me.

Is not a great number for the under takers. But tonight I see Oswalt pitching well and I see a game that is 2-1 or 3-2. But a blowout from either side could also happen. For some reason I can't see Cards winning big and can't see the Astros comming out fired up. But it is baseball and anything can happen. Just look the Astros made it to the playoffs so anything can happen. Not going all out tonight just some action for fun.

What history tells us
Only two teams in history have ever lost a game in which they were one strike away from winning a postseason series -- the 1986 Angels (Game 5, ALCS) and the 1986 Red Sox (Game 6, World Series). Both had second chances to undo their disasters. Neither won another game.

and the insuing games were all bow-outs!

I know you are an experienced capper but I'd be carefull to assume a historical correlation between this game and 2 games almost 20 years ago especially considering Astros have Oswalt and Clemons (if needed) going. I think Oswalt comes up big tonight and value lies in Houston with Cards banged up.

I've picked the Cards lots of times but this team was very banged up with only Pujols as a real threat offensively. At +140 I'll take Oswalt over Mulder any day.

Now 2-1. I think you also owe Stewie an apology.
