I want to tip my hat to all the Houston Astros Fans and Bettors. After everything that happened in Game 5, to comeback and dominate the Cardinals on the road in Game 6 shows your team has great leadership and a big heart. Maxdemo and others I know what a great feeling you must have felt last night and I hope you enjoy it for a long time. I have no regrets about losing and in fact I am actually happy that I was at the game last night being it was the last game at Busch. My group was probably one the last people to leave the stadium last night. We were all quite sad but also happy to say we were there. Oswalt was lights out and when it was all said and done, Cards offense let us down likely being too old. Living in Chicago I know what this means for White Sox fans to go to the World Series and after meeting several Astros fans who made the trip up from Houston, I know what it means to you. Don't know who I will support in the World Series or if I will even turn any of the games on but I am happy that like the Red Sox ly, some other suffering fans will know their long wait is over. Don't know who I will be on. Might be one of those situations that as series plays out might root for someone. If I root for Sox, it is because of wanting Sox to beat Cubs to WS title. If I root for Stros, it is so my Cards can get revenge next year. Have to wait and see.

Question I have for you. I was reading the last 2 days espn team boards and I can't figure out why you and other Royal fans are so against the Cards. It is unbelievable some of the trash I read. Are you guys that bitter because of how bad your boys are and Cards reside in Missouri. It would seem you would be all over mgmt to make some changes so your team does not lose 100 games each year.

I cannot speak for others, but I like the Cardinals somewhat. Probably by 2nd favorite NL team behind the Giants as I am a huge Bonds fan. However nothing comes close to my love for the Royals. I think the Cardinals have a great organization and also an extremely classy one. Just because I don't think their offense is terribly potent and I think Ecksteins arm sucks doesn't mean I am badmouthing the Cardinals. Not sure when I came accross as doing that, but if I did it was not my intent. Hell I just have you guys props for being such big time fans in a thread a page back or so.
