How to talk to a Republican Hack

Gary Hart in his own quiet way gives us all a lesson on how to deal with republican shills like Sean Hannity.

Sean started off the interview like he usually when he talks to a democrat. He'll recite some phrases that Howard Dean or Dick Durbin might have said and then asks guests if they are embarrassed by them. Hart turned the tables on him when he reminded Hannity that Karl Rove said this: "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."

Hannity made believe that he didn't know what Hart was talking about and moved on to the next question. Gary completely stopped him in his tracks. Mr. Hart demonstrated a very simple and effective way to talk to a conservative hack. We all know Sean Hannity knew exactly what Gary Hart was talking about.

What was untrue about what Rove said?

Besides all Hart said was "I Don't trust a White House Chief of Staff that Says that Democrats want to Negotiate with Terrorists"

No wonder Hannity didn't know what the Hell he was talking about, quite a bit of Paraphrasing there.

I think Doc's a Homo who has a Hard on for Hannity, and he feels jilted because Hannity wont return his calls.

i'm a democrat and the last thing i wanted after 9/11 was therepy for the terrorists. in fact i remember wishing that gore was the president because i knew he wouldn't have rested until osama bin ladan was captured and executed.

Crooks and Liars usually has some real good stuff -- this was not it. Hannity has been put in his place before - but this was a 30 second exchange where Hart didn't even properly explain himself.

It does? Really it seems to me this Site monitors endless hours of Radio and Tv. Coming up with a dozen clips a week is just flat out bullshit.

whats funnier, what i said or the fact when we had obl pinned down in a cave, the "war lord" that we hired to do the fighting, collected from both sides (u.s. and taliban) and let him go ? i just think gore might have had a better set of priorities.
