The two teams in the ALCS were both pretty much "Small-ball" teams

You're taking a sample of 1 game, and then referring to statistics in your post above..

Since 1928 it has been 49-28 American league

Anyone who does not agree that the American League is superior in World Series does not know what the fuck they are talking about.

Go to the soccer forum and stop insulting my intelligence.

My 1 game sample referred to the style of play.

I think it's generally accepted amongst most baseball writers, and posters at baseball specific forums that both ALCS teams play small ball, and certainly the Angels (having watched 140/162 games this year I think I'm allowed to say that).

People outside of America can be knowledgable about baseball I'm afraid - your ignorance not withstanding.

don'tknowshitaboutbaseballguy- you are the one that said that the Cardinals didn't try or care, and that is the reason why they lost. So you looking at past records and coming to a genius conclusion won't cut it with most people on here. But go White Sox anyway!

Was I talking to you?

The Cardinals didnt try. If they had they would have won.

Is that so hard for a retard like you to figure out?

That's a great analysis. Yep the Cardinals have no heart, and really didn't care about winning.

They simply did not come to play. Has nothing to do with caring.

Your grammar and spelling is indicative of a very uneducated person.

Did you even go to Illinois?

Yeah, real worried about grammar on here. Your name would appear to indicate that you are knowledgeable about baseball. But it's pretty obvious that you don't know jack about it.

That statement stems from the same logic that created kids' athletic programs that don't keep score so there are no losers. "You can't lose if you just try your best." Apparently the Astros were not the superior team, they just possessed more "try".
