Six States Have Laws Against Internet Betting

<!--startindex-->HONOLULU -- Online gambling in Hawaii is illegal -- as it is in five other states.
So how is it that Hawaiians have been able to plunk down thousands of dollars in poker tournaments and other games of chance without fear of arrest?
As in the case of the five other states that have outlawed online gambling, authorities are doing little to enforce the anti-wagering laws.
So far, police in Honolulu have yet to charge anyone for betting online at Internet casinos. Police consider online betting as a victimless crime -- not worth the time to prosecute.
The amount of money going into and out of the various gambling sites on the Internet is expected to reach the $15 billion mark this year.
