I'm not a US Horse Racing bettor but know enough to realise this is the biggest news for US race bettors ever!

Tradesports are an exchange but the new product they are launching is pool betting on US Horse racing at 5% take out with no fees or commission. There apparently will be strong liquidity provided by liquidity providers and payouts will be determined by a combination of the pool at the track and tradesports bets. They are just starting with win pools but other pools will follow apparently. To me this is huge as it works out better than all the rebates out there and better than the exchange products in that you a fairer price.

I just hope they extend it to UK horses - 5% horses - i never thought I'd see the day.

i was hoping for an exchange system, they used to do that.

this is nothing too special I checked it out they give you approx 4.4 -1 if on track is 4.1 - 1 (8% better), or 17.1 - 1 if on track is 15.8 - 1 (a bit more value if you play longshots).

ill stick to Pinny and sportbet for breeders cup wagering.

For NY tracks like Belmont (14%) it works at 10.5% better odds per horse and for tracks that take out say 20% works out at 18.8% better.

Comparing to a 4% and 7% rebate repctively, I hardly say this is small.

I did the sums to compare this new tradesports product to pinnacle rebates.

Say you staked $100 on a 3/1 at belmont with Pinny and $96 at tradesports at which the odds were on average 3.42/1 if the horse won you'd get $424.32 back at tradesports versus $400 at pinny. If the horse lost you'd lose $96 at both places.

For say philadelphia if you staked $100 at 3/1 with Pinny and $93 at tradesports at which the average odds would be 3.58/1 you'd get $425.94 at tradesports versus $400 at pinny. Again, if it lost you'd lose the same $93 both places.

Not knocking Pinny - it is the best horse racing product out there but these examples show that this is about 6% better than the best of the rest if your horse wins and the same if it doesn't.
