What a name!
Great game for old Boniface last night as he scored 18 points and pulled down 9 boards in another Clipper pre season win!
MISSOULA, Montana, Oct. 24 (Ticker) -- Cuttino Mobley continues to look right at home with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Mobley collected 18 points and seven assists as the Clippers rolled to an easy 112-82 preseason victory over the Golden State Warriors at Dahlberg Arena.
Inked to a five-year, $42 million deal in the offseason, Mobley was brought in to provide Los Angeles with a legitimate perimeter threat. The 6-4 veteran has averaged nearly 14 points in his six preseason contests while connecting on more than 50 percent of his 3-pointers.
Boniface Ndong chipped in with 16 points and nine rebounds while Elton Brand scored 11 points in just 11 minutes for the Clippers, who built a 56-47 halftime lead before pulling away in the second half.
Mike Dunleavy and Derek Fisher scored 13 points each and second-year center Andris Biedrins grabbed 12 rebounds for Golden State.
Sam Cassell and Chris Kaman did not see any action for the Clippers, while the Warriors played without starters Baron Davis, Troy Murphy and Adonal Foyle.
