Posting names Journeyman considered using before finally settling on Journeyman ..

My sources are telling me that ABBAman , BonJoviman and Hall and Oatesman were all names he wanted very badly ..

Sadly they were all taken by some original posters .

None of those guys post here anymore , for obvious reasons...

The interesting aspect about Journeyman's posting handle is

It was created to show fanship for the group 'Journey'

But it can also mean that he is a "journeyman poster" or a "journeyman person" . I think it is kind of slick.

I was surprised he even went on the road to Houston with them...

Incidently Journey is releasing the Live From Houston , 1st ever MTV concert in Novemeber on DVD.

little known factoid, original Rx handle "Journeyman821" , but realized later the '821' could be dropped.

Bad English with John Waite

and The Storm, both had decent short lived succes before returning to their roots....

Also Journey roots were deep in Santana, with Neil Schon at age 17 playing with Santana pretty amazing and Greg Rollie, later keyboardist Jonathan Cain joined the group after playing with John Waite from The Baby's....

Also Randy Jackson (american idol fame) toured with Journey on the Raised on Radio tour 1986 as its base player...he was also a studio musician on Perry's album and many other well known artists including Mariah Carey and Bryan Adams

Neil Schon formed another band .. 1 album .. Lead is one of the greatest voices ever...
