What a difference a season (and a strike year) makes.

As Bertuzzi is making his first appearance in Denver tonight, the word is out that Brad May(former Canuck now Av) is going to "put him on the ice".

May has not had a warm reception in Denver, and local reports are that he's going to be making a statement tonight.

This will be good!

Man, this sounds like the bounty Reg Dunlop put on Dr. Hook McCracken in Slapshot. Saw that last night. You are right, my friend, this is going to be interesting.

We shall see Tooran.

(For the record, it may be safe to say that the Denver media leads the nation in hype)

By the way, does this info come directly from Denver media "sources", or is May on the record with this? I noticed that Moore recently tried to further pursue a lawsuit against Bertuzzi, but it was thrown out. I applaud May standing up for his teammate (though were they ever actually on the same team?), but how exactly was this 'threat' made?

May was pretty careful in what he said, and the reporters "filled in the blanks".

Moore's lawsuit was thrown out because they ruled that it would be more appropriate to have the case in the jurisdiction where the incident occurred (something that was always a pretty good possibilty all along).

Hey, thanks for the info. Nothing like a little added drama to an already great matchup, in the new and improved NHL.

Watching the news cast in CO is watching a movie news cast with actors, they are the worst!

Once the av's pull away it's hammer time.. I hope he breaks his spine in 3. The f##k deserves it. If someone doesn't step up it is a slap in the face of Moore.. Maul him!!:guillotin

Brad May is a moron. He's the one who originally said something about a bounty on Moore after Moore's CLEAN hit on Naslund.

The Colorado management should be ashamed of itself for signing May. There's a feeling in the Denver community that the organization has disowned Moore. No wonder. I hope he's successful in suing Bertuzzi, May, Crawford and Burke. Bertuzzi might be the least culpable of the 4 of those jerk-offs as he was simply caught up in the hysteria the Canucks created over a clean hit. Bush league and criminal.
