Ovechkin is a stud, kid has sick speed as well. Too bad he's surrounded by complete stiffs on that team.

Headed to the forum tonight to watch the CAPS-LIGHTNING, so will get a chance to see him firsthand.

He looked terriffic on TV in the first match-up of these two teams.

watch out for gagne...with forsberg feeding him the puck (and currently leading the league in assists) this kid is finally coming into his own...i live 1/2 mile from the flyers practice arena and check out their practices sometimes....if you ever get a chance to watch a nhl team practice i recommend you do so...gagne does things in practice that you will never see in a game, of course but he is truely amazing, and forsberg is much the same....they try tricks while practicing and its unreal the things these 2 guys can do...often times you hear all the players, and fans attending the practice session yelling, " ooohhhhhhhhhh" while they are trying a new move on the ice. much like a nba player in a dunk contest....same reaction!!

two other guys that have "sick" skills are kim johnson and jani pitkannen....very young and very fast and remarkable skill.......i think i am getting off the topic but look out for gags to press for the league lead...assuming forsberg stays healthy and by the way he is playing, no reason to think he wont...not being very physical and most of his game is spent along the boards where most players let him do what ever he wants cause, for some reason, right now he is no threat to shoot,, except for his game tying goal last night with seconds to play in the game....which i was about 75 feet away from...wow, now i am really off topic!!

Fish go have a beer with your buddy Marty and get him going again. 3 Goals and 2 Assists in 10 games won't cut it.

Anyone remember Rick Nash? He has missed the first month and still might win it.

speaking of ovechkin.....2 goals in first period

I witnessed his second breakaway goal from pointblank range lastnight at the forum live!!

Telling you all right now, this kid is....... G-0-0-D.

Ten years from now think I will look back and be fortunate to say I saw this kid score on an unbelievable move in his rookie year in person.

This guy has SUPERSTAR labeled all over him.

he's a fancy pants russian, who cares they come and go all the time. Eric Staal is a real player, better than all the rookies.

Dany Heatley got 4 last night to get in the leaders. Oh, he didn't play the 3rd period either. What a trade for Ottawa.
