entire pitching staff returns...will probably lose Konerko. I'm sure they'll be able to fill in at 1st and DH though...should be another good season from the sox in 06.

maybe konerko will surprise everyone and take a little less to stay with a team he has helped build ..

that would be refreshing ..

if i really enjoyed a place and we were starting to win, i would stay . i'm still gonna make 10 million.. thats enough .

When does the Yankees/Red Sox series start? It's almost November already!

They certainly have the pitching, offense will again be the premium problem.

The Indians have just as much talent at pitching and more hitting, now if they could get off to a decent start!

in order for them to win it all again they would have to either resign konerko or another big time hitter....otherwise they will have trouble scoring runs.

This site predicts he will resign with soxs

Paul Konerko- 1B: Konerko, who will turn 30 in March, hopes to remain in Chicago's southside but big offers will quickly roll in from the New York teams, Baltimore and the Los Angeles teams. Every team would love to add his power bat to their lineup, but at a Mike Sweeneyish cost of 10-12M per season, he'll likely remain with the Sox.
Prediction: Re-signs with the White Sox for 4-years, 40M
